I don’t know s*** about this band. I’ve heard people talk about them but I honestly kept con fusing them for that band “Sponge” from the nineties.
However, what I DO KNOW is that the folks at Matador have a preetty good track record for signing great artists. Also, they’re smart enough to have rented both of the huge Manhattan bound billboards on the Williamsburg Bridge promoting this record.
If anyone wants to send me a better review for this send it, I’ll post it.
